A Case of Endoscopic Removal of Inflammatory Fibroid Polyp of the Stomach

Abstract
|
|
|
Inflammatory fibroid poly is a benign localized lesion of the gastrointestinal tract, characterized by distinctively arranged fibrous tissue and blood vessels. With an inflammatory infiltrates otten dominated by eosinophils.
Even with the widespread use of fiberoptic endoscopy. Fibroid polyp is being recognized with extremely rare frequency.
We herein report a case of inflmmatory fibroid polyp of the stomach, which was successfully removed by endoscopic polypectomy.
